There certainly had to be a festival dedicated to Bardolino, one of the fine wines of the Verona area that is famous worldwide. La Festa dell'Uva e del Vino, the Wine and Grape Festival, will be held from September 29 to October 3, 2011 on the lakefront boulevard of this lovely town on the lake. In Bardolino, the "Festa dell'Uva e del Vino" is a well-known tradition. Established many years ago by the Podestà Luigi Torresani, it has reached its 82nd edition and is held in various areas of town.

This great food and wine event, which begins during the grape harvesting season, aims to promote Bardolino wine (one of the Verona area's finest and most famous wines) in its booths set up on Lungolago Riva Cornicello and on Piazza del Porto.
During the festival, you can enjoy evening music concerts, food and wine booths, the Bardolino wine stand, food and wine sampling tours, marching bands, theater, wine seminars, and exhibits of the best Bardolino grapes and wine. The festival ends with a fabulous fireworks display over the lake.
