Sunday, March 25, to Wednesday, March 28, 2012, is the period for the 46th edition of Vinitaly, the world's most important wine and spirits expo, and the Sol, Agrifood Club, and Enolitech shows, which complete Veronafiere's offer in the wine & food and technologies sectors. The expo in Verona has been renewed to create more business opportunities for companies and buyers arriving from around the world and to offer great events to connoisseurs of fine wines and spirits. The dates for 2013 have also been set: from Sunday April 7 to Wednesday April 10, 2013.

These dates are official to help the more than 4,000 exhibitors and nearly 156,000 buyers and professionals present each year in Verona to plan their schedules. Vinitaly will also keep focusing on wine consumers, connoisseurs and fans. Vinitaly and Sol for You events will be expanded with the help of the companies, category associations, the city of Verona and surrounding areas and will begin on the Friday preceding the opening of the expo (Friday, March 23).

The last edition of Vinitaly, which exhibitors appreciated for the quality of their business contacts, established a new attendance record: 156,000 visitors, with more than 48,000 from over 110 countries abroad. The countries with the most visitors were Germany in first place, followed by the United States and Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, Austria, Eastern European countries (and especially Russia), China and Hong Kong. A good number of buyers also arrived from Japan.
