The partnership agreement, which will affect the whole province and Riva del Garda, has already officially taken off with the arrival of the youth teams in the summer of 2010. The official presentation of this important partnership agreement between Trentino and the Bayern Munich of the president Franz Beckenbauer, was signed on May 18 at the Munich headquarters of the German team.

The Under 17 team trained for a week in Trentino between late July and early August 2009, while the retreat of the other youth teams, seven formations for a total of about 400 athletes aged between eight and eighteen, is expected for next summer. Moreover, to the delight of fans, Riva del Garda will play host to the first team in the summer of 2010, with players such as Toni, Ribery, Robben and Klose.
Bayern Munich will strive to create new partnerships to promote Trentino and its beautiful places, such as lake Garda and the Dolomites, but also local products, like the wine and Trentingrana. The intent of bringing youth teams, or rather hundreds of youngsters and their families to Trentino, is to open the area to the tourists of tomorrow, instigating a childhood romance with Trentino.
