The striking setting of the Verona Arena will host the 28th edition of the International Exhibit of the Crèche in Art and Tradition, held from December 3, 2011 to January 22, 2012. The magical dazzling comet of light and steel that stands out against the sky invites passers-by to stop and announces the arrival of one of Verona's most important Christmas events.

This year, as Christmas approaches, the amphitheater arches will shine with the lights of nativity scenes created by skilled artisans from every corner of the world. Along the wide galleries of the ancient Arena that existed when Jesus was born in Bethlehem, angels and shepherds will pay tribute to the Holy Child with their gifts and sweet melodies.
Visitors will be enchanted by the magnificence and magic of this splendid, well-preserved ancient monument, a wonderful setting that contrasts with the tiny splendidly decorated and engraved figurines.
