The Pearl of the Lake will welcome Santa Claus and his special little helpers. The magic of Christmas in Malcesine encounters the magical world of the elves. From December 5, 2010 to January 6, 2011, the splendid town on Lake Garda will host the third edition of Mercatino degli Elfi - Natale al Castello di Malcesine (The Elf Market - Christmas in Malcesine Castle). The event, organized by the Malcesine city council and the Malcesine Più association, will animate the city and reveal its winter charm. Young and old alike will be dazzled by the lights and colors reflecting on the waters of Lake Garda.

The Scaliger Castle will host several spectacular events with clowns, jugglers, magicians, balloon sculptors, puppeteers, and makeup artists for kids. In the castle, there will also be a very special person: Santa Claus with his fantastic workshop and his elves. On the weekends during the event, the streets and squares of Malcesine will turn into a wonderful open-air market full of tasty treats, souvenirs, and Christmas objects.

The calendar and hours: from 2:00 to 6: 30 p.m. on 5-6-7-8-19-26-31 December 2010 and on 1-2-6 January 2011.
