The center of Castelletto and the picturesque port of Brenzone dedicate nearly a whole month to the New Oil of Garda, a recognized and much-appreciated product of the Verona area that has received the DOP (Denomination of Protected Origin). The expo returns to promote this exquisite Veronese oil during the period that it is pressed and bottled. Local restaurants participating in the expo will offer sampling menus with recipes made with the new oil and typical local products.

The most important day of this traditional event is November 25, the feast day of Saint Caterina. In olden days, this date concluded the farming season in the area: the lemon houses were closed and Castelletto hosted the fair of livestock returning from the pastures on Mount Baldo. Still today this tradition remains and combines the oil tasting event with the livestock fair. From morning to night, there will be many events inspired by tradition and food that Brenzone offers old and young alike.
